Last week we celebrated being married for 25 years, a quarter of a century. I’ve been with this beautiful man longer than I have lived without him. He took me on a wonderful beach trip where we were absolute gremlins! We ate so much good seafood, spent hours looking for shark teeth and took naps every day!! I think I’ll keep him!

The metamorphosis from soft mud to usable mug is fascinating! Coming up with a really cool idea for the coming year that I think will really speak to people. Going to do a practice run soon and see how it goes. Stay tuned! I am also slowly taking on a couple more students for private wheel lessons. I am deliberately doing this at a slow pace to allow myself time to adjust to schedules and find the best routines for not just me but my students. It’s important to me that they get the fullest experience out of their time with me and that I can be intentional about my presence.

My Dolly tribute corset mug. I didn’t know it when I started, but I can just picture her wearing this with a cute flowy skirt and her big hair! Her’s was one of the very first records I would listen to sitting against the big speakers in our living room. This was one of my favorite songs. I remember the butterfly on the record jacket too. Maybe I’ll make a butterfly corset next. I’m a small batch potter and sculpture in OKC and I love creating weird and whimsical ceramics! Give me a follow to see more!
